place I want to go: Seattle, Washington
I think Seattle could be a cool place to go. Not entirely aware of what there is to do there, but yeah. Probably see a Mariners game. I dunno. It’s just on the list.
Place I want to go: New York, New York
I’ve got the travel bug again. I think I need to go to NYC at least once before I settle down. The city just seems like it’d be so alive and so awesome.
- Baseball: Yankees game for sure…….or a Mets game if I have to.
- FOOD. I want to try so much different food, the food network tells me there is amazing food ERRYWHERE in New York.
- Tourist stuff. I wanna see the MOMA, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Times Square
- Subway: I’ve never been on a subway before, so I think it’d be “neat” to ride one.
I don’t even know what else there is to do in New York, but I’m sure the list is endless.
Anyone have suggestions for things I must do if I ever go to NYC?
Place I want to go: Agawa Bay (Camping)
I’ve started sending messages and looking up prices. We’re gonna go camping (we = me and the boys, Chris, David, Tomek). This place is about 12 hours away on Lake Superior, but it’ll be totally worth it. Worst case scenario we’ll end up at Murphy’s Point again (by Perth). We may even do a second trip to Murphy’s later in the summer tool.

Summer trips:
- Toronto Trip - I’d like to go the July 1st weekend because the Phillies are in town the 1st - 3rd. That’s a dilemma though because I want to be here for the HUGE party that goes down. I’m definitely gonna go at some point because I wanna meet up with Jacob since he was a total dick and moved there for the summer and only told us like a week before he left. Definitely gonna hit up the SkyDome.
- Camping Trip - We need to figure out when. I still wanna go in August, but we’re probably going to go to Murphy’s point (near Perth) for a short trip before then. David and I are definitely going to Agawa Bay (Lake Superior) for a trip. It’s going to be spectacular.
- Montreal Trip - This could be fun, I mean Montreal is only 2 hours away. I don’t have any reason to go there, the Expos are gone, but it could be a great trip.
- Philly Trip - Philly probably is not happening on account of me not having money / the money I do get will be going towards other things. I don’t have a lot of shifts these days so I have to scrimp and save. I gotta pay for baseball, finish paying off my camera, pay for the above trips, and buy my lens. So yeah, Philly will have to wait.
Any suggestions?
Place I want to go: Ireland I think a little bit of my family is from Ireland if you go up the family tree far enough, although most of it is from Scotland. I think it’s really quite pretty and yeah. It’d be sick.
Place I want to go: Thailand
I’ve wanted to go to Thailand for several years. My aunt and uncle are there now and that is what has reignited my interest in the country. Whether it’s the city or the country I don’t really care. Both seem fascinating. I love thai food and I’d love a chance to sample real authentic dishes. I just think everything there would be awesome.
Anyone know much about it, or been there before?
Place I want to go: Copenhagen, Denmark
- I really want to go here. I don’t really have a reason but it seems like it would be really cool.
- I read a really good spy novel that took place in Copenhagen, I bet that’s why I want to go there.
- I’m sure there is fun stuff to do there. Does anyone know anything about Copenhagen?
Places I need to go: New Zealand
New Zealand has always seemed like it would be a fun place to go. Admittedly my interest in the country is rather vapid, but what can I say. The reasons I want to go to New Zealand:
- Flight of the Conchords - Hilarious, and introduced me to New Zealand.
- Lord of the Rings - It was filmed there, I loved them movies when I was a kid.
- Beautiful Country - They have glaciers and tropics and touristy stuff.
I don’t know much else about New Zealand, so I’d appreciate it if someone could enlighten me. I just know that it seems like it’d be a cool place to go.
Places I need to go: Montreal, Canada
I haven’t BEEN to Montreal really. I’ve been there for baseball tournaments and double headers. I’ve been there for class trips when I was like 13. I’ve been to the big O for some Expos games. I’ve never really seen the city. I wish with all my heart that the Expos were still around. I would be at games every other weekend. But with a lack of Les Expos this is what I plan on doing:
- Hitting up the BioDome. Who doesn’t love animals?
- Shopping because I’m vain.
- Drinking, a lot.
- Visiting people who are in school there maybe?
- See a show?
- If drunk enough, rippers.
- What else is something I should see in MTL?
Places I need to go: Chicago, USA
I would also like to go to Chicago. I would go there for sports reasons (ie. Bulls, ChiSox, BlackHawks) and I’m sure there is a lot of other cool shit to do there. I don’t really know much about the city, but I really like the big old cities. Who can tell me what there is to do in Chicago?
